Sometimes all we need is time away from distractions and a quiet space in which to sew. If this is what you crave, then Hometown can hopefully make it easier for you as we are now hiring out our spacious workshop for you. You’re welcome to use the large sewing tables to lay out your quilts and sew your projects.

You can use the time to patch and quilt, stitch curtains, dressmake, trace patterns, prepare quilt tops, tack or bind. You can sew solo or make a double booking for 2 people. You choose the project to work on as this is an untutored session. If you require help with your sewing, please look at booking our beginners’ quilt classes.

We’ll provide the space, tables and irons. Also available if required are rotary cutting equipment, sewing machines plus walking foot and a design wall.

Choose the time slot to suit you. Morning sessions are 10.15 - 12.45pm (2.5 hours). Afternoon sessions 2.00-4.30pm (2.5 hours). All day sessions can be anytime between 10.15-4.00pm. Please put your required date in the prompt box as you add to the basket. As dates are booked they’ll disappear from the list below!

Please provide a phone number when you book, so we can contact you with any queries to prepare the studio space, before your session.

Tea/ coffee is provided for you. And if you want to make a full day of it, you’re welcome to bring your own lunch, or there are many coffee shops, tea rooms and delis in the high street.
