Perle Thread is known worldwide because of its soft, silky feel and wonderful colours. Made from 100% mercerised cotton, its special twist gives the thread its pearlised sheen. We’ve added gorgeous variegated options to our extensive collection of plain colours. They’ve proved so popular instore, that we’re delighted to now offer them online.
This lovely thread can be used for Sashiko, applique, Kawandi quilting, plus embroidery, crochet, punch needle, hardanger and knitting. Perle no.8 is thicker than Perle no. 12.
In-store, we also sell Perle no.5 in variegated colours (which is even thicker and also ideal for Sashiko stitching).
