Perle Finca is known worldwide because of its soft, silky feel and wonderful colours. Made from 100% Egyptian mercerised cotton, its special twist gives the thread its pearlised sheen. This lovely thread can be used for Sashiko, applique, big stitch Kawandi quilting, plus embroidery, crochet, punch needle, hardanger and knitting. Perle no.8 is thicker than Perle no.12. We also now stock Perle no.8 in lovely variegated colours too.
February 2026: Please note that due to supplier issues, stocks of the finer no.12 Perle cottons are very low right now. So we have removed them online, to protect store stocks. Until our next delivery arrives, do call us if there is a particular no.12 colour you need.
