Glass head pins aren’t affected by irons, plastic head pins offer excellent value (and like the others can clearly be seen when you drop them on the floor)! Applique pins are tiny 2cm steel pins, ideal for securing small applique motifs.

Our machine needles are suitable for all types of machine - just choose the right needle for the type of cloth you are sewing, eg Jeans for sewing denim and so on. For everyday sewing with quilting cottons the 80/12 or 70/10 Universal needles are a good match. If you’re machine quilting, use the 80/12 Quilting needles as they have a really sharp point for stitching through all the layers of the quilt. And remember, don’t just replace your machine needle when it breaks. A new needles for a new project should be your mantra!
