Our soft brushed cotton fabrics (aka flannels or wynciette) are really popular for quilt backings, shackets, pyjamas, Christmas tree skirts and stockings. As quilt backs, brushed cottons are oh-so cosy. They are very good value, plus they are wider width and this year we have 4 new checks to add to the clan. Children’s brushed cottons and plain white are shown here.

These fabrics are priced and sold in quarter metre lengths (Equivalent price is between £8-9.00/m, depending upon the design). You’ll need about 75cm (3 units) for one generous size stocking.

Longer lengths are cut as one continuous length, so for 1/2 metre, add a quantity of 2 to your basket; for 1 metre, add 4; for 2 metres, add 8 and so on.
