Cottage Cloth is a gorgeous tonal collection by Renee Nanneman. The fabric has the look of a woven texture and the rich saturated colours have the subtlety that you get in natural dyeing. The collection launched with lovely autumnal tones and more pastel colours arrived spring 2024. These prints coordinate beautifully with our autumnal fabrics , plus many of the Edyta Sitar collections and Hannah’s Flowers.
There is a free pattern download for the quilt shown here. The pattern can be easily adapted if you’d like to sew the quilt in a selection of the colours. We usually have a kit of fabrics instore containing the base fabrics needed for the quilt - just call us on 01634 838880! We also have a bumper fat quarter bundle with 20 fat quarters (that’s 5m of cloth to sew with) so you can design your own quilts.

Cottage Cloth is priced and sold by the quarter metre (equivalent price is £12.60/m). We’ll automatically cut a long quarter (25x112cm), but if you’d prefer a fat quarter (50x56cm), just mark the box when prompted. Larger quantities are always cut as a continuous length. So, to order 50cm of fabric, just add 2 to your basket; for 1 metre, add a quantity of 4; for 2 metres, add 8 and so on.
