New in for 2024 is Rye, an easy to sew water-resistant polyester. As well as being ideal for outdoor cushions, it would also be great for jackets as it has a lovely, soft fabric feel, (so you won’t feel like you’re wearing a windbreak!). And the price is amazing at just £7.00/m for 150cm/60-in wide cloth.

Our other PU coated polyesters are just the thing for making awnings, outdoor cushions, windbreaks and beach bags. They’re wide-width (150cm/60in) and water repellent (not waterproof). The PU coating ensures that colours stay bright, so it’s ideal for cheerful easy-to-make bunting for the garden. Simply add some herringbone tape to sew all your triangles together. The Whitstable solid colours can easily be sewn using a size 90/100 Jeans machine needle. Plus if you need some recycled polyester thread to sew your projects, just click add to your basket and we’ll select the most suitable colour.

In error we re-ordered a slightly heavier weight in lime, called Seasalter, which is great quality product, (but the rolls are very heavy for us to lift)! So, in order to sell it through fast we are reducing the normal price by 15%, so bag yourself a bargain you get summer-ready.

Please note that Bath and Henley stripes have exactly the same performance features, but we’ve noticed when cutting that they are a little stiffer. Therefore, these fabrics are CLICK-AND-COLLECT only, as we’d rather roll them, than fold them to fit in the post.

All these fabrics are priced and sold by the QUARTER METRE (25cm). So, for 1 metre, add a quantity of 4 to your basket; for 2 metres, add 8 and so on.

Our deckchair canvas is the real thing and is the correct width (43cm/17-in) for traditional wooden deckchairs. 100% polyester, PU coated, so it doesn’t fade. For a deckchair you should buy a quantity of 3 which is 1.5m. Please note this is our final stock of this deckchair canvas.
