Every stitcher needs several pincushions! In this mini class, Marion shows you how to stitch a generously sized pincushion using the traditional Log Cabin pattern. This is a great introduction to a classic patchwork block. And to make life really easy, we supply all the fabrics as a pre-cut kit as part of the class fee, so you can simply enjoy the sewing together. The results also make a lovely handmade present for a stitchy friend, which is why you’ll have a second kit to take home. This class is suitable for complete beginners to patchwork. Hand sewn.

Minimum age - 10 years. Please note, that under 16s should be accompanied by an adult also booking a space on the workshop.

Materials: * supplied as part of the course fee

• * Kit containing pre-cut cotton quilting fabrics, toy stuffing, needle and white thread. There’ll be a variety of colours available. Plus a second kit home is included in your workshop fee!

  If you have the following, please bring it along. We will also have this equipment* in our workroom that you can share

• Iron-erasable marking pen (or a pencil)*

• Quilters’ Quarter inch ruler*

• Needle Threader*

• Thimble (optional - please bring if you use one)

  Refreshments will be provided. If there is any haberdashery you need, the shop will be open to students during the class.
