Larking celebrates the great British pastime of mudlarking - foraging on the riverbanks for long buried treasure. Shards of china, clay pipes, ancient haberdashery and more - what will you find. The classic blue colour palette echoes traditional china patterns and we have such a selection of fabrics, you can mix and match at will.
As well as the metre fabrics, we have curated a lovely fat quarter bundle containing 10 coordinating patterns (that’s 2.5m of fabric). Also available are pre-cut Jelly Rolls. Plus to complete the picture, we have a selection of mudlarking books instore. Plus we have a workshop this summer, Blue Plate Special, that’s ideal for Larking fabric.
Larking is ideal for quilts and home accessories. The fabrics coordinate well with solids and textures from our Solids and Linen Texture collections.

These fabrics are priced and sold by the quarter metre (equivalent price £16.00/metre). We’ll automatically cut as long quarters (25x112cm), unless you request a fat quarter (50x56cm) when prompted.
Longer quantities are always cut as a continuous length. So for 50cm, add 2 to your basket; for 1 metre, order a quantity of 4 and for 2 metres, order 8 and so on.
