Black, White and Grey - 4 simple words but oh, the patterns and possibilities! We’re always having a bit of a monochrome moment and this spring Ink by Giucy Giuce is added to the roster. Ink is based on the mark making scribbles that can be found in Giuseppe’s sketchbooks. Ink will also work well with earlier collections such as Sleuth.
If you are looking for coordinates - our Solid White W01 and Twist White are both bright whites and Solid Black X01 is an intense black. Of course there are all the nuances in shades of grey from smoke to charcoal to add too. For backing we have new 108-in wide fabrics called Squiggle and fat quarter and fat eighth bundles too.
And if you want to add some colour, anything goes with these neutrals - so put your own spin on your makes, whether it’s a modern baby quilt, timeless dressmaking projects that you’ll wear for years, or maybe a request for a new student quilt with “no flowers, mum!”.
We cut and price all Monochrome prints in quarter metres (equivalent price is £13-16.00/m depending on the design). We’ll automatically cut a long quarter (25x112cm), but if you’d prefer a fat quarter (50x56cm), just tick the box when adding to your cart. Larger quantities are cut as a continuous length, so for 50cm, add a quantity of 2 to your basket; for 1 metre, add 4; for 2 metres, add 8 and so on.
