NEW! The Heritage Collection
Museum archives and centuries-old quilts continue to provide inspiration for today’s designers and quilters. If you want to sew a traditional quilt, we’ve gathered together some of our favourite small scale heritage prints. Many of the original fabric designs date from the 18th and 19th centuries. These patterns work well with smaller coordinating ditsy prints , the Dutch Heritage collection and many of Edyta Sitar’s collections. We also have a traditional 108-in wide backing fabric which would be ideal with this style of print.
These fabric are priced and sold by the quarter metre (equivalent price £14-15.00/m depending on the design). We’ll automatically cut a long quarter (25x112cm), but if you’d prefer a fat quarter (50x56cm), just click the prompt when adding to your basket. Larger quantities are always cut as a continuous length. For 50cm, add a quantity of 2 to your basket; for 1 metre, add 4; for 2 metres, add 8 and so on.
Manufacturers: all the greats - Andover, Moda, Marcus, Nutex and Riley Blake - 100% quality quilting cotton. 112cm / 42-in wide.
